Observational sketches

Again, trying to apply what Rad said. This was actually part of some homework...

    huuuerrrrmm....the people are nice...got the gestures/emotions well...but i see something happening here that also happens to me a lot...the chairs and tables dont seem very grounded. also they very small...almost like mickeys toon town house furniture lol

    i think it happens with me is because i draw the chairs and what not after the fact...i wonder if you did the same thing here?

    I'm supposed to be pushing the proportions in these pics, but I didn't think about the size/proportions of the chairs very much at all, so if they are "stylized" then maybe it was on accident and I just ended up drawing tiny chairs by accident...

    but back to the people...it looks like you were able to catch them in very few strokes...u found the shapes within their gestures that made them interesting and put them into an interesting composition

    I'm a bit of a noob at this so I did use a red col erase pencil for a bit at first, and then removed it in Photoshop
